1. Trophies will be given to WINNERS for each category.

IMPORTANT NOTES TO PLAYERS!
1. The goal of the tournament is to improve your game and gain important match experience.
2. Please be considerate at all times with your partner, exercise fairness and honesty especially when calling out balls.
3. Sportsmanship and friendly attitude is always encouraged.
4. Don't take the tournament way too seriously!
5. You need to shake hands before and after the match!
6. When there is a dispute regarding a line call, you need to repeat the point.
7. You can schedule your matches at any time/location. Scheduling will be very flexible. If you schedule your match in NYC and your match last longer than 1 hour, you will have to schedule/coordinate again to continue your match at another time/day.

1. MENS INTERMEDIATE will be SINGLE ELIMINATION FORMAT - best of 3 sets, tie break in the 3rd set.
2. MENS ADVANCED will be SINGLE ELIMINATION FORMAT - best of 3 sets, tie break in the 3rd set.
3. MENS DOUBLES will be round robin format - best of 3 sets, tie break in the 3rd set.
4. MIXED DOUBLES format will be announced later...
5. WOMENS OPEN will be round robin - best of 3 sets, tie break in the 3rd set.
TOURNAMENT is FREE and only TennisNYC league members are eligible to participate.

Rishi is the winner of the WINTER 2007 TennisNYC Tournament (Singles-
Intermediate category) held last February 2007. Rishi is shown above
receiving prize money ($200) from Hakuna, the dog of the league. The
tournament was held at the Florida
Tennis Center in Daytona Beach Florida, few steps from the TennisNYC
vacation home.
